talent for the coast

Talent for the Coast programs are specifically designed to allow the local children of the Gold Coast to have the opportunity to gain the performance and stagecraft skills to prepare for auditions for roles in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

This program is supported by the Gold Coast Mayor and the Gold Coast Council and has the backing of the Major Events department of the Gold Coast Council. Additional support has been received from State and Federal Members with a submission before the Education Queensland to incorporate the Talent for the Coast program to the Gold Coast State School System.

Following the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the Talent for the Coast program will continue to provide excellence in professional entertainment training for the youth of the Gold Coast.
